Allyson graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in Education and taught for several years in an inclusion classroom in Washington D.C. before becoming an occupational therapist. She received her doctorate degree in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California. Allyson has obtained advanced practice in the state of California in swallowing intervention and physical agent modalities. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with parents and improving children’s independence in everyday meaningful activities.
