Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)

Beatrice has been working in pediatrics since she can remember, and she has always had a particular interest in the field of disability. The pure focus on providing health care for children with a variety of neurological and developmental needs in one of the world’s leading and unique rehabilitation clinics, prompted her to work at NAPA. She has worked with children who have a variety of needs, including those within the areas of speech, language, voice, feeding and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). During her time studying at the University of Sydney and practicing as a Certified Speech Pathologist (CPSP), she developed a special interest in feeding and swallowing, which is why she recently became accredited to provide the SOS Feeding approach. Her passion in this area of speech therapy is also shown in her love for trying new restaurants with friends and family. Beatrice also loves a good conversation about travelling and the outdoors, especially recommendations for new coastal and bush walks.

Beatrice is currently on leave from treating at NAPA as she has relocated to another state, but continues to work with NAPA in a mentoring and supervising capacity for our Speech Therapy team.
