Bachelor in Speech-Language and Hearing Therapy, The University of Stellenbosch, South Africa

Introducing Clarissa, a dedicated speech language pathologist who recently made the exciting leap from South Africa to Melbourne, Australia. With a heart full of passion for empowering children to reach their full potential, Clarissa endeavours to provide holistic, evidence based and family-centred therapy. Her passion for Speech Pathology and paediatrics, stems from a deep understanding of the importance of effective communication in a child’s developmental journey. She finds joy in helping children and families reach their individual goals and celebrating each milestone they achieve along the way. Clarissa’s areas of interest include early intervention, social communication difficulties, phonological awareness, AAC, and feeding/swallowing disorders. Clarissa enjoys connecting with family and friends, spending time exploring the outdoors, and learning new things. She also enjoys exploring the city’s diverse culinary scene, reading a good book and doing arts and crafts.
