Katie is a passionate and enthusiastic OT who received her education from Tufts University in Medford, MA. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Katie found her love of working with children in the pool as a swimming instructor, coach, and lifeguard. Teaching children of all abilities to love and feel safe in the water was just one factor that led to her to this amazing career path. Katie has spent time working in several different service areas including skilled nursing, subacute rehab, schools, and outpatient pediatric settings. A few of Katie’s favorite games/activities to play in OT sessions are Pop the Pig, making crafts, and navigating obstacle courses! Outside of work, Katie enjoys going to concerts, attending pilates class, taking a walk around the Charles River, or reading a mystery/thriller book!
