Kestra graduated from California State University, Long Beach with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in December 2022. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in April 2020 at the University of Redlands. She is thrilled to be joining the Denver team as a clinical fellow! During her graduate program, she completed an internship at the NAPA Center in Los Angeles where she fell in love with the pediatric population and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Since high school, Kestra has been enthusiastic about working with children and knew she wanted a career where she could make a difference. She is passionate about helping children and their families increase their quality of life through the treatment of speech and language disorders, improving functional communication, or helping children find their voices. Born and raised in Colorado, Kestra is excited to move back from California after school to be near family again. When she is not at NAPA, you can find her cooking, dancing, enjoying the sunshine, and looking for new brunch spots.
