Lisa’s first exposure to physical therapy was back in high school, when she watched a documentary about a beauty pageant for kids with disabilities. This movie gave just a glimpse of the rewards and challenges throughout their rehabilitation journey, and Lisa knew she wanted to be a part of it. She then attended University of Delaware where she was studying exercise science, disability studies, and dance/creative movement therapies (which is reflected in her clinical style today)! After graduation, she moved up to Boston where she received her doctorate in physical therapy at Boston University. Fun fact is that she was once a clinical student at the NAPA center, and she is excited to continue treating this community of wonderful kids and families. She is energetic, creative, and loves to make kids laugh and feel more confident in their abilities. In her free time, you can find her trying out a new recipe, going on a day hike, playing tennis, or seeing live music!
