Currently studying Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (La Trobe University)

Monique is an enthusiastic and dedicated Therapy Aide. She has been drawn to children from an early age, always eager to help where she can. Monique’s passion for helping others was solidified after she faced challenges of her own requiring support from various health professionals. She first found out about the work of an OT when her brother was diagnosed with Autism and supported by an OT. This led to the decision to study Occupational Therapy, she aims to work with pediatrics upon graduation. Monique has gained valuable experience through various volunteering roles and is excited to contribute to the development of children. She looks forward to gaining valuable experience and understanding as a therapy aid whilst working towards her qualification. When not at NAPA or studying Monique can be found crafting away at the sewing machine or making cards and papercrafts. She loves to bake and cook for her friends and family and enjoys exploring new walking tracks and paths with her Spoodle Rosie and some good music.
