Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (HONS), University of Queensland 2018
Nichola discovered Occupational Therapy during a university open day in high school and has never looked back. Working in a profession founded in independence, engagement in meaningful activities, community and advocacy is the perfect fit for Nichola and fuels her passion for the profession. Nichola has experience working with children with a range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and sensory processing differences, to name a few. Her goal is to champion each child and their family to ensure they know she is in their corner – cheering them on, advocating for them and supporting them to reach their highest potential. Outside of work, Nichola spends time out in nature, at the beach, on the hunt for good coffee or trying her hand at different creative activities.
