Bachelor of Communications, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia

Sarah chose to go into a career in communications after growing up with a love for the written word. She enjoys finding a story and telling it. In a past life she has worked as a journalist, a media officer, in various communications officer roles, and more recently as a content specialist in the financial services industry. She spent many of her young adults years traveling, and kept her travels going by working as a camp counsellor in America, spent a ski season in Canada, and bumped around London and some of Europe for a time.

What drew her to join the NAPA Brisbane team is her own lived experience as the mum of Roman, a young disabled child, and their experience navigating the world of therapy. With a few NAPA intensives under her family’s belt, she’s found the NAPA style and approach to therapy that suits their goals and hopes for Roman’s future.

When she’s not at work, Sarah loves to tend to her garden, take on yet another DIY house project, spend time with her husband Dave and kids Isla and Roman, and their family dogs Minnie and Toby. She also admits she can’t live without coffee, loves to binge a good TV series, or set off for weekends away camping in the great outdoors.
