Pop Up Clinics

NAPA Centre routinely completes outreach clinics or pop-up clinics in areas, towns or cities that we do not have a permanent clinic. Pop-ups are a great way for NAPA to see children who may not normally be able to access our services.

Whilst NAPA Pop Up Clinics are staffed by fully qualified NAPA therapists from our existing clinics, the experience can be a little different to a visit to one of our permanant clinics. Typically you can expect the following:

  • A small team of 5-7 NAPA Therapists. Depending on which therapists are available to travel, all therapies/modalities may NOT be available. Please see the available therapies listed above and note that a pop-up setting may NOT be appropriate for all children.
  • Pop-ups operate the same times as our existing clinics 8am – 4.30pm daily, Monday – Friday. When registering you will be asked for your preference for morning or afternoon sessions.
  • The clinic will pop-up in a local community centre, hall or function space. We do our best to find great locations with ample parking and facilities, but sometimes this can be limited based on what is available.
  • NAPA will bring along equipment, toys and resources to make the pop-up successful, but this may differ significantly to what you could expect by visiting a permanent clinic. NAPA will also reach out to participating families to ‘borrow’ any equipment they may have as well to supplement what can be brought.
  • Therapy/intensive charges are at the same rates as in our permanent clinics, however an additional intensive travelling and resource preparaton fee will be charged. More information on this is included in the FAQ’s below.

How do I apply for the Pop up clinic?

You can register for the pop up clinic by clicking on the above registration link and completing the form. Please note however that we cannot schedule your child in the intensive unless we have current patient intake forms that have been completed within the last 12 months. You can complete the patient intake forms here 

Completing thie registration form is simply a registration of interest. We will contact you directly if we have a suitable space available for your child. Please note that as we travel with a limited number of therapists, if the session becomes full, we will add you to the waitlist automatically or may reach out to you to offer you a place in one of our permanent clinics.

Please note that as Pop up clinics have a limited amount of therapists, restricted modalities and limited equipment, it may be deemed that your child may not be appropriate for the session.

What happens after I register?

  • The pop-up intensive will be scheduled in the months leading into the intensive. Intensive Offers will come via the email address that your used on your registration and will be followed with an invoice for the session.
  • Your intensive is only confirmed once you accept that spot in writing and either pay your $1000 deposit or return a completed NDIS service agreement. Please note that you may have to pay the holding deposit if the intensive date you have registered for fall outside of your current NDIS plan dates.   • Please note that submitting a registration form is a request for an intensive only. Filling out this form in no way guarantees you a session or any of your preferences. We do our absolute best to accommodate your requests but due to the volume of applications, all with specific preferences and scheduling needs, meeting even your most preferred request is not always possible.
  • If you miss out on the session you have registered for, we will automatically add you to the waitlist for that session.

Do I have to attend the whole pop up?

Yes. Just like our permanent clinics, a commitment to a pop-up intensive is a commitment to all three weeks of the program. If there is a day or session that you cannot complete due to prior commitments, then you will still be charged for these sessions as your therapists will have already been allocated.

Will there be opportunities for drop-ins or assessments during the pop up clinic?

If you are interested in finding out more about NAPA, popping in to see us during the drop in or arranging an assessment while we are in town, then please reach out to us by emailing us here. We may be able to schedule some individual appointments in the session dependant on what is available, but will not likely be able to confirm this until just prior to the pop up session.


What does a pop-up intensive cost?

Total Intensive Therapy costs are dependent on how many hours per day your child is doing therapy. To calculate the total cost of an intensive, simply multiply the hourly rate by the number of days (typically 15 as most intensives go for 3 weeks) and the number of sessions per day. For example, a 3-hour daily program will have a total cost of $8,685 ($193 x 3 x 15) + $289.50 for the Intensive Summary Report. Likewise, a 4-hour daily program will have a total cost of $11,580 ($193 x 4 x 15) + $289.50 for the Intensive Summary Report.

Please note that additional charges do apply which cover the travel and resource preparation fees associated with the pop-up session. These additional fees are dependant on the number of hours your child is completing as part of their program and are outlined below:

  • 1 hour per day – $965 ($579 travel and $386 resource prep)
  • 2 hours per day – $1,544 ($1,158 travel and $386 resource prep)
  • 3 hours per day – $2,123 ($1,737 travel and $386 resource prep)
  • 4+ hours per day – $2,702 ($2,316 travel and $386 resource prep)
  • Non-intensive/Drop ins – $48.25 per one hour session


For the total cost for an intensive program, you will need to add the therapy costs, report and travel/recourse preparation fee. For Example, a 3 hour program would be $8,685 (Therapy Cost) + $289.50 (Intensive Summary Report) + $2,123 (Travel/Resource Prep Fee) = $10,777.50.

  • An itemised intensive invoice will be provided for the pop-up intensive.

How do I know if the pop up is definitely going ahead?

We are confident that we will have enough interest to make all announced pop ups move forward.

In the instance that there is not enough interest in a session, NAPA may cancel or postpone the pop-up clinic.

If you have already paid a deposit for a session that gets cancelled, your money will be fully refunded.

Can I assist with the pop-up clinic?

We are always looking for assistance to make these pop up clinics happen!
