NAPA Sydney paediatric physiotherapists create a supportive and encouraging environment where children are challenged to achieve new developmental milestones and improve physical abilities. Using advanced methods like DMI, the NeuroSuit, SpiderCage, Galileo Vibration Plate, and more during weekly or intensive paediatric physiotherapy sessions, our paediatric physiotherapists specialise in helping children with physical and neurological delays, treating diagnoses such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and many more.
Our paediatric occupational therapists take a developmental approach to address areas of physical ability (fine and gross motor skills), sensory processing and modulation, handwriting skills, visual motor skills, and self-help skills. Essentially, an OT's role is to assist the child in performing childhood "occupations" with the greatest level of independence possible. We welcome babies, toddlers, and children of all ages.
Our speech therapists use a variety of techniques to address oral motor dysfunction, apraxia, fluency, receptive/expressive language, social pragmatics, and more to help improve overall communication development. Additionally, our SLP's and OT's can support children's independence in eating through relationship-based developmental feeding therapy to address various feeding difficulties.
