Choosing a therapy provider for your child is an important decision. We want to make it as easy as possible for families to learn about NAPA, meet our team and understand how we may be able to support your child.
There are two ways to discover NAPA — join one of our free online Discovery Hours from home, or book a free 30-minute Discovery Session at your local NAPA clinic.
Want to learn more about NAPA before visiting one of our clinics? Join us online for a free NAPA Discovery Hour.
Our Discovery Hours run weekly online and provide families with a comprehensive introduction to NAPA, our therapy services, fees and funding, and our approach to working with children and families.
During the Discovery Hour, our team will take you through everything you need to know about NAPA, including:
There is also a live Q&A with our Client Experience Team, giving you the opportunity to ask questions specific to your child and family. Best of all, you can join from the comfort of your own home!
Discovery Hours are completely free, and when you register, you’ll also receive access to the recording, so you can watch it again or share it with other family members or people involved in your child’s care.
Pick a session below and register — it only takes a minute and we’ll send the joining link straight to your inbox.

No — it is completely up to you.
Some families prefer to bring their child so they can experience the clinic, meet the team and become familiar with the environment. Other families choose to attend the first visit without their child so they can have a conversation with our team and ask questions before deciding on next steps.
There is no right or wrong choice — do whatever feels most comfortable for your family.
A Discovery Session is an introduction to NAPA, not an assessment appointment.
No formal therapy, assessment, evaluation or clinical testing is completed during a Discovery Session. While our team may talk with you about your child and their needs, the session is not intended to provide a formal clinical assessment, diagnosis or detailed recommendations.
If you are looking for a formal assessment or evaluation, a separate Evaluation Appointment will be required.
If you would like your child to have a formal evaluation or assessment, we can discuss which therapy discipline or assessment may be most appropriate for your needs.
Evaluation appointments can be arranged with our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech & Feeding Therapy teams, depending on what you are looking to assess.
These appointments are separate from a Discovery Session and fees apply. Assessment fees vary depending on the type, complexity and time required for the assessment.
If you are seeking an assessment, please let our Admin Team know when making your enquiry. We may need to arrange a different appointment time or day to ensure there is enough time for the assessment to be completed appropriately.
No. Both our Discovery Hours and in-person Discovery Sessions are completely free.
There is no obligation to book therapy or proceed with NAPA after discovering more about us. These opportunities are simply designed to help you understand who we are, what we do and whether NAPA may be a good fit for your child and family.
